The Irish Setter Wingshooter DSS Classic line consists of an oxford, chukka and 9” hunting boot. All styles feature a unique sole platform which increases flexibility and reduces muscle and bone fatigue. The Dynamic Suspension System is a patented mechanism that reduces fatigue caused by underfoot pressure through a shock attenuating mechanism. The system works by redistributing the downward force produced under the heel during each stride. The end result is a more enjoyable experience in the field, with fresher legs over the course of multi-day hunting trips. The vintage look, shared by each style, incorporates traditional leather welt construction and premium upper materials. The DSS Classic uppers are built with robust full-grain leather that is polished and finished with natural wax to create a classic look with a crisp finish. Wax and oil are used to temper field-quality cotton that complements the fine leather in both appearance and durability. An internal UltraDry waterproof membrane keeps feet dry in the chukka and 9” models. “Irish Setter keeps building on its heritage, and our new Wingshooter DSS Classic boots are a great example.
